Chloe Jorgensen

Hi There, I am so glad you’re here.

I am Chloe, a trauma-informed paediatric Occupational Therapist. I believe in the power of relationships, creativity, joy and play to support children and young people be their best selves.

I believe in the power of working closely and collaboratively with young people, children, their families and schools. I have strong knowledge, however, I believe that the families I work with really are the experts and prefer to gently guide families, children and young people to a place of thriving and wellbeing.

I have undergone training within trauma informed care, sensory processing, eating and feeding (including ARFID), emotional and sensory regulation, supporting anxiety, school based success. I am committed to neuro-affirming practice.

I am also a yogi at heart and believe in the power of mindful movement and sensation to support a sense of grounding and safety.

5 Facts about me

  • I live on a little property in the bush, with a garden and chickens. In my down time I am either in my garden, watching the chickens, hiking or enjoying some time with friends and family.

  • I have my own personal lived experience with anxiety, I have worked hard to learn to give space to my anxieties, accept them and move forward with grace and courage. This has not been easy, however, the lessons we learn from our lived experiences are transformative.

  • I have an old Kelpie called Alba. My chickens are named after the land before time characters, little foot, Ducky, Petrie and Cera. They are our little dinosaurs

  • I am a horse girl at heart. Once I travelled to Mongolia, bought horses and went on an enjoyable adventure on horseback.

  • I once climbed a 6000m mountain.
